Diana heads up the Environmental Law Units at Dingley Attorneys and also has extensive expertise in commercial and labour law.
She performs audits of companies in terms of Occupational Health, Safety and Environment legislation.
Diana is responsible for the registers we compile for clients and is also involved with all forms of commercial drafting and advising.
Career
After completing her degree, Diana spent a couple of years in the United Kingdom working in legal offices. She returned to undertake her articles at Webber Wentzel Bowens in Johannesburg and was admitted in 2003.
Diana then left for Sarnia, Ontario in Canada where she spent four years working for LANXESS Inc. (formerly Bayer Inc.) where she coordinated various reorganizations and was engaged in company secretarial, due diligence, service agreement renegotiation and commercial arbitration work.
Diana then taught Alternative Dispute Resolution and a Business Law course at Lambton College in Sarnia.
Diana completed the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test and was admitted as a solicitor of the Law Society of England and Wales in 2006.
Upon her return to South Africa in 2010 and before joining Dingley Attorneys, Diana worked as a project attorney at Lawyers for Human Rights in Stellenbosch. She was involved in litigation in the Boland Magistrate’s Courts, the Labour Court as well as Land Claims Court cases.
Diana is presently studying towards her Masters in Marine and Environmental Law.
